Ausdruckstanz
Description: Dance Class focuses on choreutics, the kinesphere, scale études, central–peripheral–transversal pathways, spatial harmony, and the icosahedron. Drawing from the teaching lineages of Jean Cébron, Hans Züllig, Kurt Jooss, Sigurd Leeder, and Mary Wigman, the class resurrects—from archives and kinetography movement partitions—exercises and études from the German modern tradition, and uses this framework language in contemporary phrasework and prompt-based devising.
